The Evan Thomas Memorial Scholarship is administered and managed by a volunteer committee comprised of three individuals. In addition to managing the affairs of the Scholarship, the Scholarship Committee is also responsible for reviewing Scholarship applications and the selection of the annual recipient of the Award.
The Scholarship Committee has entered into a contract with the Saskatoon Community Foundation to manage the principal endowment and any future donations made to the Scholarship Fund and to make direct payments of the scholarship awards to the account of the Recipient at the post-secondary institution that the Recipient will be attending in the following fall.
Since 1970, the Saskatoon Community Foundation manages endowed funds of $42 million, with over $60 million in total assets managed.
